Of the three states - Mexico, Mississippi and Alabama - that held their primaries yesterday, two could have made history.
Only one did.
In Alabama's democratic primary, Rep. Artur Davis was out to convince Democrats to put him on the gubernatorial ballot for the general elections in November. That would have handed him a shot at becoming the state's first ever black governor.
