$80 billion come...$80 billion go.

Were it to be that the US actually had $75,900,000,000.00 to spend I would be happy to let them spend it on something like crappy education, shittier health care, and inspiring economic recovery through a pretty lame reduction in taxes for the filthy rich or even more outsourcing to help inspire the American workforce.

But this is not the case.

This $75,900,000,000.00 the country does not have to spend is being spent so we can continue to occupy Iraq and play with natural gas in Afghanistan.

I've a question...do you think if we offered $75,900,000,000.00 as a reward for Osama bin Laden we might just be done with this little ol war on terrorism that simply wasn't?

Shock and awe indeed.

Thank goodness the Chinese are still buying up our debt and not quite ready to kill off the US economy by freeing the Yuan from the dollar.

BTW...anyone else noticed the rather negative light China has been under via US media sources of late? I thought we were a nation of capitalist cut throats who craved competition to drive progress. Instead we seem to be shaking our sabers at people who aren't really our enemy and have nothing to fear from us.

After all is said in done it looks like insurgency seems to be the strategy to defeat super powers. I suppose we should thank the CIA for that...

(note...yes I'm aware China has some pretty evil practices but the US is currently top dog in the evil dept imho)

is more than I make in a year! I was wondering, do they take checks?
