So, I seriously thought about Jackie Harvey-ing this article by everyone's favorite 23-year-old columnist Ben Shapiro but, really, it wouldn't be as funny.

The Onion should seriously just use his OpEd columns. They're comedic gold.

The whole "article" is a crock of "shit" (excuse me, pure grade A pap). Once again, I am "amazed" that this guy "graduated" from "Harvard".

Oh, Drudge. Have you not learned anything yet? First, somebody, please volunteer to redesign his site. Second, please note that you're the only "journalist" who thinks it's professional to use exclamation points in a news story (ITEM!).

So I was watching the news this morning, and it appears that the political season is upon us. Early sniping has begun in the great northwest, and the well lubed repuglican part has fired the first salvo. The ad starts off innocuous enough: You're born, you do the right thing, you pay your taxes, and when you die, you have to pay taxes again! Up to 55% of your estate! Oh my goodness, I have to pay a death tax? Whatever should I do? Well, the Club for Growth (http://www.clubforgrowth.org/) tells us we should call Sen. Cantwell and tell her to strike it down! Hmmm, I wonder why they didn't ask us to call Patty Murray? Maybe they just forgot.

In regards to the "death Tax", I had a nice sit down conversation with my father one night about it, because just as it happens he's an attorney who does estate planning. He's been doing it going on 30 years now, so I figure that he would have some insight on the whole matter. Just as it turns out, he does, and you know what? The only people affected by the death tax are the children of the ultra wealthy who did not hire a good estate planner. No family farms have been closed. No one was ever put into the poor house because of the "death tax". If you work your whole life, and you pay taxes, and you die and your estate is less than 3 million, guess what? You don't pay it. Two percent of the population is affected by this, so why is the club for growth so up in arms about it, and what's the importance of calling Sen. Cantwell about it?

Gosh, I never realized it before. And all this time, I thought by trying to use energy more efficiently we would actually be saving energy.

Where do these guys get this stuff and more importantly, why does anyone believe them.

The greatest mystery in the last half of the 20th Century was solved today. The Washington Post has confirmed that the upcoming Vanity Fair report stating Deep Throat was Mark Felt, former 2nd in command at the FBI, is true. (Slate actually predicted Felt was Deep Throat years ago).

Pretty big news, right? The greatest political mystery of all time has been solved. In this era of 24 hour cable news networks, programming should be all Deep Throat for at least a week, right?

MSNBC's Scarbrough Country lead with it! CNN Newsnight dedicated most of the show to it! Chris Matthew Hardball'd the hell out of the story on MSNBC!

Hannity and Colmes will totally talk about it... right? Let's take a look at what they'll be talking about tonight:

Rick Larson thinks multi-millionaires need a break

Okay, I’ve met the guy a couple of times, I have friends who have worked at all levels in his campaigns, and before now I thought he was the perfect guy to represent Whatcom County, but what is Rick Larson doing voting to repeal the estate tax?

Is it that he simply dosen’t care about our trillion dollar deficit, our crumbling transportation infrastructure, or our failing schools? Is it that he thinks multi-millionaires need a break?

Or could it be that Rick wants to score points with people like Frank Blethen, the patriarch of the family that controls the Seattle Times, who hates the estate tax? (Speculation is that the reason the Seattle Time endorsed George Bush back in 2000 was due to Blethen's opposition to the estate tax.)

Fox does it again!

Overspun.com has posted this video clip which gives you yet another example of how out of touch Fox News is with reality.

While the clip is from a discussion of Teri Schiavo, the alarming part has nothing to do with the unfortunate national spotlight her family tragedy received.

Be prepared to drop your jaw in complete disbelief as Fox tells America (or, more accurately, "lightly implies") that if you disagree with what Bush and the GOP controlled Congress do, then you're a wacko- a marginalized minority and should be feared. Also, you're probably a homo and you get your coffee from Starbucks.

The AP is reporting that a man is now selling a devise that blocks Fox News

Formerly a registered Republican, even a precinct captain , Kimery became an independent in the 1990s when he said the state party stopped taking input from its everyday members.

Kimery now contends Fox News' top-level management dictates a conservative journalistic bias, that inaccuracies are never retracted, and what winds up on the air is more opinion than news. "I might as well be reading tabloids out of the grocery store," he says.

Now how can I get one installed on every TV?

FCC fines censor PBS

The Seattle Times is reporting that because of increased FCC indecency fines, PBS is altering an upcoming Frontline episode that deals with solders in Iraq to insure it does not violate obscenity laws.

Since when is freedom of the press indecent?

Lucky for us, PBS in Seattle will be broadcasting the show in its original version.

Jeff Gannon- White House Gay Prostitute

Well since no other BetterDonkites have brought it up they've left the dirty work to me. It looks like White House Press Room softball-question tossing stooge Jeff Gannon is yes, a giant gay prostitute. (Warning, big gay nudity ahead.) We all knew before that he was a fake news reporter for a fake news agency but completely embraced by the Bush White House for his outspoken defense of insane policy and pathetically tame press conference questions. But now the revelation that he is a gay prostitute, that's a whole 'nother story! While the whole "fake news" part can't be seen by anyone as surprising this has to be considered quite a shock, and I can think of only three plausible explanations for this:

The Bush Administration feels their so impervious to media influence and popular perception that they just didn't care about their manly, strapping, question-stud's big, whore-like-tendencies.
